***Scroll down to see the list of Candidates***

Already Registered? Check your Status link

It's a good idea to make sure you have not been purged from the voting rolls

(You can also find your polling place with a map at this link)

If you need to register: Voter Registration link

(You will need your Idaho Drivers License)

You can also register at your polling location on Election Day

IF YOU WANT A MAIL-IN (ABSENTEE) BALLOT YOU MUST REAPPLY EVERY CALENDAR YEAR

Mail-in Ballot Request

Check on whether it was received

Your ballot must arrive at your county elections office by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Mail your ballot as soon as possible in case of delays. If you cannot mail it soon enough, bring it to your polling place on election day and they will exchange it for an in-person ballot.

Every primary and general election things could change and the polling place you voted at before may have been changed. PLEASE make sure ahead of time that you are aware of the correct polling location for your address/precinct.

You can register when you vote in person, mail a registration form to your county clerk, or visit your county clerk’s office during business hours. To register to vote in person, you will need a current photo ID and proof of residence. Register to vote using your primary Idaho residence.

  • Have not voted in the past four years

When you register to vote, you can join a political party or remain unaffiliated. Your party choice can affect which primary election races you are eligible to vote in. Idaho has four registered political parties:

  • Constitution Party

  • Democratic Party

  • Libertarian Party

  • Republican Party

To Change or Declare a Party Affiliation:

Submit a signed form to your county clerk to change your political party affiliation or become “unaffiliated”. If You Are Currently Affiliated With A Party: The signed form is due to the county clerk before the 10th Friday preceding the primary election. If You Are Currently Unaffiliated And Want To Affiliate: Unaffiliated voters can affiliate with a party on or before the primary Election Day. You can declare your party preference when checking in with a poll worker or submitting a party affiliation form to the county clerk.

Students: You can register and vote while attending college in Idaho or opt to maintain your registration status in your home state. You must be an Idaho resident to vote in Idaho elections. Am I considered a resident? The residence you consider to be your “home,” whether it be your college/university address or elsewhere, is the address you should use for voting. Be aware that changes to your declared residence may affect scholarships or stipends. Out-of-State Student: You may only be registered to vote in one place. If you’ve lived in Idaho for at least 30 days, you may register to vote in Idaho using an accepted form of ID and proof of residence.

WOKE IDAHO CHOICES

Our crew is interested in backing like-minded candidates that have a very good shot at winning the election for which they are running. This means they have the political structure, network capabilities, speaking skills, outreach - and most of all funding resources - behind them that make them viable to possibly turn a GOP seat into a Dem or Independent one. We mean no harm to all those running alongside our choices and admire that people are actually standing up to lead and resist against the current systemic power structures. We must focus on winning, Much respect and love for all!

Congressional District 2 Candidates

There still seems to be confusion about who to vote for in CD2, Rep. Mike Simpson’s seat. We wanted to remind you that Julie Wylie has stepped down and has endorsed Ellie Gilbreath. However, since it was past the deadline to withdraw, Julie’s name will still be on the ballot. Please choose Ellie!

Fourth District Judge Candidates

Several members of Idaho Women Forward are unfamiliar with the individuals running for District Judge in Idaho’s Fourth Judicial District and have asked who we would recommend. We strongly encourage a vote for Jeffrey Street, Jr., as we believe he has the intelligence, experience, and temperament to serve with distinction. To learn more about Jeffrey’s credentials, please visit his website: Jeffrey Street for Justice. We believe Jeffrey is head and shoulders above the other candidates, one of whom is running a MAGA-style campaign.

It is very important that everyone votes for Jeffrey Street for the District Court Judge Seat Ada A. This will be on all ballots, Dem, R, & Independent. One of his opponents is aligned with Mike Fitzpatrick (the hetero-awesome guy)

READ THIS REGARDING DAVID MORSE (running for the same District Court Judge Seat Ada A)

For Ada County voters who are voting on the Republican ballot, vote for Holly Cook for County Commissioner. She is a reasonable Republican who would be miles better than Ryan Davidson (who has many problems, including absenteeism, apparently).
