Protect the Vote!

For people that care about elections and voting rights, please join the League of Women Voters of Idaho’s coalition to fight further voter suppression.

The League of Women Voters of Idaho is partnering with Vote Riders for paying for documents that people need to get an Idaho ID to be able to register to vote. The League will be holding ID doc clinics. If you know of people who are in need of this assistance, please contact vote411idaho@gmail.com.

Support Babe Vote

When you sign up in May to become a monthly donor to BABE VOTE, an anonymous donor will contribute an additional $100. But this offer ends at midnight May 31.

Go https://www.babevote.org/ & click on "Donate" before you forget. Be sure to hit "Make it monthly" to take advantage of this offer and help sustain BABE VOTE's youth-led actions.

IMPORTANT: Your generosity helps BABE VOTE provide inclusive spaces and opportunities to students who care about human rights and dignity for all. BABE VOTE students form and join clubs that counter the divisive messaging from billionaire funded Turning Point USA. BABE VOTE students register their classmates to vote and organize their peers to fight for democracy.

Turning Point USA in Idaho Schools

Send a Message!

Dear Governor Little,

I am writing to express concern about your recent proclamation encouraging students to form “Club America” chapters in Idaho schools.

For years, your administration has emphasized keeping political ideology out of education in the name of neutrality. This action appears inconsistent with that position.

Promoting a specific, overtly ideological organization — even as an extracurricular activity — blurs the line your office has worked to draw.

If neutrality is the goal, it must be applied consistently. Encouraging one political viewpoint while restricting others undermines public trust and raises serious concerns about fairness.

I urge you to clarify how this aligns with your commitment to keeping politics out of schools.

Sincerely,

Boycott REI: Stand with the Workers

REI isn’t the Co-op they say they are, and we need you to boycott REI during their biggest sale of the year this May.

Don't shop with REI, in-store or online, from May 15th-25th to show REI’s leadership that we won't stand for any more union busting.

After the largest Co-op member uprising in REI’s history, REI’s new CEO, Mary Beth Laughton, “promised to return the Co-op to its roots.”

She lied.

That’s why hundreds of thousands of Co-op members are boycotting REI during their 2026 Anniversary Sale. Union workers voted overwhelmingly to approve this boycott. Now, it’s our turn to join the coalition of co-op members and outdoor enthusiasts who are voting with their wallets to send a clear message.

Help us tell REI loud and clear: No contract, no gear!

Reject More Money for ICE

Contact Congress Now

Last month, the US Supreme Court dealt a devastating blow to the 1965 Voting Rights Act, critically weakening Section 2 and making it much harder to challenge racially discriminatory congressional maps, disproportionately affecting Black communities. The systemic attacks on people of color continue to escalate, all the while Congress is working to allocate additional funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP)- agencies that have targeted our neighbors of color and irreparably harmed our communities.

We need your help to demand that Congress reject new funding for ICE and CBP.

Last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill allocated more than $170 billion to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its subagencies, ICE and CBP, as well as to the Department of Defense to expand immigration and border enforcement activities. We have seen the impact as armed, masked agents have been deployed into American cities, surveilling, detaining, disappearing, injuring, and killing civilians. Now Congress is considering a more than $70 billion package to scale up these ICE and CBP activities for the next three years.

At a time when the rights and freedoms of communities of color are under attack all over the country, we must stand up and fight for a truly representative, multiracial democracy. Today, demand that Congress stop funding attacks on historically marginalized communities, and reject more funding for ICE and CBP.

A group of neighbors are working on a neighborhood project to provide Pride flags and yard signs in the North End! If you'd like to volunteer with distribution, you can email pridenorthendboise@gmail.com. It's going to be a whirlwind of updates over the next week in preparation for Pride month!

Safe Bathroom Project

Trans Affirm is building a Safe Bathroom List to add to their website resources in response to the new Idaho legislation that criminalizes trans people for using restrooms that align with their identity. Allies can contribute as well, but please be thoughtful and specific.

The Planned Parenthood  Power Walk

The Planned Parenthood Action Fund Power Walk challenge runs June 1-30! Will you join our community and support our fundraiser? AND, have fun while you do it!

This is an especially dangerous time. More than 50 Planned Parenthood health centers were forced to close last year — and another 150 are at risk because right now Congress is trying to permanently "defund" Planned Parenthood centers.

We know that a future with protected access to care is possible. It's going to take all of us, as a collective community, to fight for and defend the right to health care, including abortion and gender-affirming care.

Can we count on you to take part in the virtual Planned Parenthood Action Fund Power Walk? Whether you walk, run, roll, or swim ‐ it'll be a fun and meaningful activity for you and your community.

Our work to make that happen is supported by fellow advocates like you, so we hope you'll join today ahead of our June 1 challenge!
