Protect the Vote!
For people that care about elections and voting rights, please join the League of Women Voters of Idaho’s coalition to fight further voter suppression.
The League of Women Voters of Idaho is partnering with Vote Riders for paying for documents that people need to get an Idaho ID to be able to register to vote. The League will be holding ID doc clinics. If you know of people who are in need of this assistance, please contact vote411idaho@gmail.com.

Turning Point USA in Idaho Schools
Send a Message!
Dear Governor Little,
I am writing to express concern about your recent proclamation encouraging students to form “Club America” chapters in Idaho schools.
For years, your administration has emphasized keeping political ideology out of education in the name of neutrality. This action appears inconsistent with that position.
Promoting a specific, overtly ideological organization — even as an extracurricular activity — blurs the line your office has worked to draw.
If neutrality is the goal, it must be applied consistently. Encouraging one political viewpoint while restricting others undermines public trust and raises serious concerns about fairness.
I urge you to clarify how this aligns with your commitment to keeping politics out of schools.
Sincerely,
Farm Bill HR7567
The 2026 Farm Bill (Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, H.R. (7567) slashes protections from pesticides and now faces a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives, where we are asking members of Congress to reject it.
Corporations like Bayer-Monsanto are pushing Congress to include language in the 2026 Farm Bill that could overturn state and local pesticide laws, forcing communities to rely on federal standards alone.
These local protections often go further than federal rules – helping to safeguard vulnerable populations such as farmworkers, children and pollinators for food production.
And this comes despite science linking pesticides like glyphosate and neonics to serious health harms, including cancer.
Tell members of Congress to get serious about protecting health and the environment.

HR 1897: The Endangered Species Act
This bill is scheduled for House floor consideration under a rule this week. The bill would make significant changes to how the Endangered Species Act operates.
Changes how species get listed, how habitats get protected, how residents can challenge decisions they believe are wrong, and how much political and economic pressure gets built into a process that is supposed to be grounded in science.
According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the ESA has prevented extinction for 99 percent of the species listed under it. This bill changes the foundation it rests on.
Who to contact: Rep. Simpson & Fulcher
"I am a resident of Idaho. HR 1897, the ESA Amendments Act of 2025, is on the House floor this week, and I am asking you to vote no. This bill would add economic-impact requirements to species listing decisions, change critical habitat rules, and restrict judicial review of delisting. The Endangered Species Act has prevented extinction for 99 percent of listed species. These changes would weaken the protections that make that record possible. Please vote no and let me know your position.
Thank you, name."
Maxwell to be Freed!?!
The House Oversight committee is divided over whether to grant clemency to Ghislaine Maxwell.
Who to contact: Rep. Simpson & Fulcher
"I urge you to publicly oppose any pardon or clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell.
She was convicted for her role in facilitating the abuse of young women and girls connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Granting a pardon would send a devastating message to survivors and undermine accountability for serious crimes.
This should not be a partisan issue. I ask that you stand clearly against any effort to grant her clemency and affirm support for victims.
Thank you for your time."
John Roberts & wife took $20M from whom he rules on.
Five mechanisms exist to hold a federal judge accountable. Each of them is being refused. Let's create pressure!
Send a letter to the DC Bar Office of Disciplinary Counsel at 515 Fifth Street NW, Building A, Room 117, Washington DC 20001. Write to disbar him in your own words.
The facts to include are John Roberts Jr. mischaracterized his wife's commission income as salary on 16 years of federal financial disclosure forms, omitted a material equity interest for 3 consecutive years, and did not recuse from over 500 cases argued by law firms paying his household in commissions. This is a course of conduct stretching across two decades, connected by a single through-line: the belief that the rules that apply to every other federal judge do not apply to him. It takes about ten minutes.

Safe Bathroom Project
Trans Affirm is building a Safe Bathroom List to add to their website resources in response to the new Idaho legislation that criminalizes trans people for using restrooms that align with their identity. Allies can contribute as well, but please be thoughtful and specific.

BABE VOTE needs our support!
An Idaho supporter of BABE VOTE has pledged to donate $100 for every new recurring monthly donation of $5 or more we receive during the month of May!
With the massive influx of interest in BABE VOTE and our expansion to several new campuses across the state, a stable flow of resources is needed to support our student volunteers.
**Be sure to hit "make it monthly"**
Now that the State of Idaho has partnered with Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA to bring their “Club America” chapters to every high school in Idaho, BABE VOTE's mission is more important than ever. We strive to provide every Idaho student with a safe, non-partisan, inclusive alternative in their school. Students are organizing, registering to vote, and taking action against threats to their classmates and state-promoted indoctrination. Consequently, interest and involvement in BABE VOTE is rapidly increasing.
With this growth comes new challenges. Unlike TPUSA, we don't have billionaire backers and endless resources. Our youth-led organization is 100% volunteer and relies on the support of donors.
NOTE: As a 501c4 non-profit, BABE VOTE cannot participate in Idaho Gives. So donating here is how you can help.
