HJR 4 WILL BE ON NOVEMBER'S BALLOT:

HERE'S MORE INFO ON WHAT IT'S REALLY ABOUT

This November, there will be a measure on the ballot that attacks our ballot-initiative rights. The measure is called HJR 4, and it was placed on the ballot by the Idaho Legislature during last year’s session. The measure would prohibit Idaho citizens from using the initiative process to legalize marijuana or other controlled substances.

This measure is not just an attempt to stop marijuana initiatives; it is an attack on the ballot-initiative process itself and the right of Idaho citizens to make their own decisions.

If the legislature can take away our right to decide on marijuana, they can take away our right to decide on any other issue—whether it be education policy, healthcare policy, or anything else. Every Idaho citizen who believes in the ballot-initiative process should vote NO on HJR 4.
